The Pousada sits overlooking to the south and west the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean in Sagres in the Algarve, which is the most south western point of Europe. It was here the famous Henry the Navigator in the 16th century, watched his long planned imaginative expeditions sail over the horizon on their quest to find new lands and sea routes.
The surrounding area provides fascinating walks along deserted cliff tops and several beaches leaving far away those routine pressures caused by every day living. There are 38 rooms and one suite with a restaurant and bar. For the convenience of guests there is a swimming pool and a tennis court.
The Pousada is approximately 115 kms from Faro Airport.
