This Pousada was recently opened in the Algarve and an ideal place to stay to explore on foot the historic town of Tavira. The Pousada Convento da Graça is a 16th century Convent built for the Augustans nuns. Located close to where the castle use to stand it was built in the old Jewish quarter of the town. Carefully restored, it captures the peace and charm of the original convent which is particularly noticeable in area created by the cloisters. There are thirty six rooms of which 7 are Doubles and 24 Twins. The remaining 5 are Suites, one of which has its own terrace and small garden, and another one is equipped for the benefit of disabled guests. It has a restaurant and bar, a games room; a swimming pool for adults and one for small children, and a parking area for the convenience of the guests. The rooms are all air-conditioned; en-suite bathrooms; equipped with cable TV, Internet connection, telephone; mini-bar and hair dryer.
The reception is ready to give guest a warm welcome 24 hours a day and the Faro Airport is approximately 30 kilometres from the Pousada.
