Overlooking the attractive medieval town of Bragança in the northeast corner of Portugal the Pousada offers comfort and good hospitality to its many passing visitors. The walled old town and castle dates back to the 12th century and King Sancho I. The name of the town was later given in 1442 to the illegitimate son of João I whose family line is still today the Pretender to the throne of Portugal. There are twenty eight rooms with a restaurant and bar, and a swimming pool in the grounds for the convenience of the guests.
The Pousada is approximately 255 kms. from Porto Airport.
