Pousada de Santa Maria do Bouro Description

The Pousada is a conversion of a former 12th century Cistercian Monastery which is reflected in its charming architecture. Its location is to the north of Braga in the Costa Verde region on the road to the Nature Reserve of Gêres. It makes an ideal stop for travellers looking to visit the mountain area with its varied fauna and animal life. There are thirty two rooms and for the convenience of the guests there is a swimming pool.
