The Pestana Palm Gardens Ocean Villas is composed of 78 two-bedroom Townhouses overlooking the sea and located on the outskirts of the fishing village of Carvoeiro in the Algarve, Portugal. It was originally opened in 1990 but has undergone a complete renovation in 2002.
The stylish and comfortable furnished Townhouses are ideal for holiday makers seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a pleasant atmosphere.
Each apartment is tastefully furnished and the kitchens are equipped to cater for six persons. Each has air-conditioning, satellite TV and radio, a safe, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchens are also equipped with a washing machine, oven, and microwave.
The adult swimming pool is large and heated in the winter months. A separate pool is available for children. The “Palms Clubhouse” provides breakfast, snacks, drinks and light meals. Other facilities for guests include a children’s play area, a tennis court, and a Health Club with a fitness room, sauna and massage.
The Hotel is conveniently within a good walking distance of the village. Carvoeiro was once a sleepy small place but it is now a popular location for smart restaurants, bars and night life. For the sporting inclined there are three golf courses in the immediate vicinity, two tennis clubs, and two lawn bowling clubs.
