The Pestana Hotel Alvor Atlântico Apartments are 80 comfortable holiday studios and 3 one-bedroom apartments located on the beach, half of which with fabulous sea views. They are an integral part of the “Pestana Beach Resort Hotel & Villas” which occupies the prime position at almost beach level on the long sandy Alvôr beach and about 45 minutes drive from Faro Airport in the Algarve, Portugal.

The apartments are composed of one-bedroom (with Extra Bed sleeping up to 3 persons), all air-conditioned, safes, satellite TV, telephone, and with kitchenettes equipped with all that you should need to make the holiday enjoyable. It was opened in 1972 but it has since undergone a complete renovation in 1997.

As the Pestana Alvor Atlântico Apartments are an important part of the Resort, all its guests have use of the many available facilities that are created for their enjoyment and to make a very happy and successful holiday.

The restaurant “Atlântico” provides an international and Portuguese menu. The “Pavilhão de Rei” provides breakfast and caters for guests on Half Board. Also, there is the snack-bar “Retiro do Rei” for that casual light meal. There two large bars areas, the “Bar do Príncipe” and the “Lobby Bar”.

Live entertainment each evening in the summer season is provided in the Resort and also periodically in the winter. The popular local traditional Folk Dancers are a regular part of the show. In the summer months there is an active supervised “Kids Club” providing fun and games for younger guests.

The Resort is conveniently within a easy walking distance of the village of Alvôr. Once a sleepy small place it is now a popular location for good restaurants, fun bars and night life. For the sporting enthusiast there are 9 golf courses in the vicinity, two tennis clubs, and three lawn bowling clubs.
