The modern Hotel Sao Miguel Park is a hotel located close to the Ponta Delgada Botanical Gardens. It presents outstanding views of the São Miguel Island from most of its windows. There are 163 bed rooms and suites, some with balcony and many others with beautiful views of the town and the sea.
The hotel Restaurant, with sea views from the dining room, offers Azorean traditional cuisine and normal international dishes. The Azorean Archipelago is famous for whale watching, scuba diving and water skiing, all of which can be arranged by the hotel reception. Due to its central location the hotel is some 7 minutes walk form the commercial area, whilst, the marina is only 12 minutes walk.
