This Hotel Dom Henrique was inaugurated in 1973. During these thirty years the hotel, with its 112 rooms, restaurant and bar, have been submitted to several refurbishing and improvements.
All the rooms are very comfortable, air-conditioned, and there are 22 suites and 16 non-smoking rooms, all equipped with direct dial telephone, mini-bar, satellite TV, an analogical fax/modem port and additional digital port in all suites. The restaurant 'Além-Mar' on the ground floor is decorated by Júlio Resende, one of the top contemporary Portuguese artists and also from Porto. The menu offers a choice for guests between traditional Portuguese dishes or those with an International flavour.
The Bar 'Anrrique' on the 17th floor and 54 metres above sea level is the good place for business discussions or simply for relaxing while enjoying the spectacular view over the City. On weekends there is live music.
