Course Description
The newest course in the Algarve, the Espiche Golf Course
which has been designed by the South African Peter Sauerman
has taken 17 years to make. It gently provides an undulating
18-hole par-72 course that blends into the local landscape.
It's lakes, streams, and indigenous planting, add to the
enrichment and biodiversity of the area. Various attractive
aspects are that the course offers the golfer a clever blend
of open countryside with vineyards and views to the Monchique
Mountains. The close proximity to Praia da Luz and the City
of Lagos offers an excellent and convenient location.
The course uses new grass technology making one of the most
ecologically advanced courses. However, beware when your
ball lands in the rough it can be a challenge to hit out!
