The Hotel Alcazar in Monte Gordo was opened in 1973 and has eight floors and 119 bedrooms including 54 Junior Suites. Only a few minutes walk from the Casino and the centre of Monte Gordo, and most importantly, just a few steps from the long sandy beach.
The Hotel has many facilities for its guests and its air-conditioned bedrooms are equipped with balconies to enjoy the view, mainly to the sea. They all have a room safe, mini-bar, direct telephone, hairdryer and satellite TV.
There are two swimming pools set in the garden, a children's play area, ample terracing, snack bar and a tennis court. Inside the Hotel Alcazar there is a buffet restaurant, a coffee-shop, piano bar, souvenir shop, games room and a conference room.
