Alvor Praia faces south to the sea and is one of the few Hotels
in the Algarve, Portugal, that is located directly to the sandy
beach which stretches for about 2 kms. Within 5 minutes walk
guests can be in the centre of the old fishing village of Alvôr
which offers many fine fish restaurants and friendly bars. There
are also 8 golf courses within a radius of 15 kms, two of which
belong to the Pestana Hotel Group. For general shopping there
is the commercial town of Portimão which is only some 10 minutes
drive.
