Supermarkets on Christmas Eve

Postby andymerc » Tue Aug 04, 2009 9:47 am

We are coming out to Lagos on Christmas Eve this year and I understand that shops and supermarkets tend to close early. As always, my main concern is getting fed, so my question is this. When do the supermarkets tend to shut on Christmas Eve? We land around lunchtime and need to get provisions for the first few days of our stay.

It does feel strange talking about this on 4th August, but not quite as strange as the looks we'll be getting from Customs on Saturday when we go through with a Christmas tree in our luggage...

You could go to the Jumbo at Faro shopping not far from the airport, should still be open at lunchtime but could be busy
